Manage your notifications

How notifications work in SourceMagnet: the bell icon, the alerts page, and reminders on dates and deadlines in contracts, tasks, and procurements. Alerts, reminders, warnings.

This article shows you how to read your notifications and how reminders on dates and deadlines work.

Read your notifications

  1. Select the bell icon at the top of the page. A dropdown shows your latest notifications.

  2. Select See all alerts to open the full page. The list shows your notifications with the newest first, and selecting one opens what it points to.

  3. Select Load more to see older notifications. When you have no notifications, the page shows You're all caught up.

Reminders about dates and deadlines

You can set notifications on date fields across SourceMagnet: contract dates such as expiry and renewal, due dates on contract tasks, and the bid delivery deadline in procurements. When the date approaches, you receive a notification in SourceMagnet and by email, and the email contains a direct link to what it concerns.

An administrator in your organization decides the default notifications for everyone. On a contract you can also add your own reminders on top of the defaults. For what the emails look like and what to do if they do not arrive, see Receiving emails from SourceMagnet.
