This weekend we are upgrading SourceMagnet with a new design and a significantly improved experience. SourceMagnet stays available all weekend, and the new design is rolled out as we go.
Everything you work on, in the left menu
The menus that ran across the top now sit down the left-hand side. The statuses have their own entries with counters, so you see the numbers without opening a single list: In progress, Announced, Under evaluation, Award and standstill and Completed.
The home page shows what is urgent
You are met by an overview rather than an empty list: deadlines coming up, agreements about to expire, and your procurements split by stage.
The procurement follows the process
A numbered bar shows where the competition stands, from announcement to contract. The content sits in tabs: request, qualification, bids, evaluation, award and communication, rather than one long page.
New in the menu
Needs gathers reporting and follow-up of needs.
Library holds templates and the requirement library in one place, set up by an administrator.
Private businesses now choose what the procurement asks for: products, minimum requirements and evaluation requirements are optional.
What to hold off on this weekend
You can use SourceMagnet as normal: log in, submit and edit bids, download documents, ask questions and sign. Two things should still wait until Sunday 6 September at 21:00:
Creating new procurements.
Publishing or announcing a procurement.
💡 Tip
If an announcement has to go out during the weekend, send it before Friday 4 September at 18:00.
After the weekend
Support is extra staffed from Monday 7 September at 08:00. Get in touch via the chat in the bottom right corner, or email support@sourcemagnet.com.
