Procurement templates

Written by Fredrik Muri Slettestøl

This article shows you as an organization administrator how to reuse a whole procurement setup.

What a template is

A template is a ready-made setup you pull in as one piece: requirements, criteria and settings at once. The requirement library gives you one requirement at a time; a template gives you the whole set.

Create a template

Select Templates under Library and select New template. You can also build one from a procurement you have already set up, with Save as template in the wizard.

💡 Tip: The easiest way to get going is to take a procurement that worked well and save it as a template. Then you avoid building the setup from scratch.

Change a template

Select Edit on the template in the list. Changes do not affect procurements already created from it.

Use the template

When you create a procurement, pull the template in with Insert template. Everything arrives filled in, and you adjust what is specific to this particular procurement.
