This article shows you as a buyer how to set requirements suppliers must meet, and what you will assess their bids against.
Switch on what you need
On the first step you find What does this procurement ask for?. There you switch on the parts your procurement needs. You can change this while the procurement is a draft.
Minimum requirements are requirements the supplier must answer to take part.
Evaluation requirements let you assess bids against weighted requirements, not price alone.
Products asks suppliers to price a product list.
Set the minimum requirements
On the Minimum requirements step you add requirements with New requirement. If you have used the same ones before, pull them in with From the library instead of writing them again.
ℹ️ Note: A minimum requirement is a yes or no. If the supplier does not meet it, the bid should not continue. If something should be weighted and scored, it belongs under evaluation requirements.
Set the evaluation requirements
On the Evaluation requirements step you choose the Evaluation model, that is whether you assess on price alone or on the balance between price and quality. To bring price into the calculation, switch on Ask suppliers to enter a price.
Then you add the requirements and how much each one counts.
💡 Tip: Use Save as template when the setup is done. Next time you pull the whole set in with Apply template.
