Users and roles: who can do what

Written by Fredrik Muri Slettestøl

This article applies to you as an organization administrator, and explains how access fits together.

Where you manage it

You find Access management in the menu at the bottom, under your name. The Users tab lists everyone with access, showing Name and what Access they have.

The access levels

Access is given per area, and each area has two levels: viewing, and creating.

View events and Create events for procurements.

View contracts and Create contracts.

View projects and Create projects.

Whoever can create can also view. You do not need to give both.

ℹ️ Note: Access to an area is not the same as access to everything in it. A contract can also be shared with particular people, and a procurement has its own responsible person.

Change what someone can do

Select Change access on that person row. The change takes effect immediately.

💡 Tip: Give people what they need for the job, not more. A contract often holds prices and terms not everyone should see.
