This article shows you as a buyer how to create a procurement and send it to the suppliers you want bids from.
Create the procurement
Select Procurements in the menu, then select New sourcing event.
Fill in Title under General information. The title is the first thing suppliers see, so write what you are buying.
Continue to Details.
💡 Tip: If you have run a similar procurement before, use Insert template instead of starting from scratch.
Describe what you are buying
On Details you fill in the Description and set the Deadline for when bids must be in. Reference id is optional, and is used if you have your own case number.
Continue to Documents when you are done.
Attach documents
Under Documents you attach what suppliers need in order to give you a bid. You can drag files into Drop or browse files here, or select Upload documents. If you need to write something directly in the solution, use Create document.
Continue to Invitations.
Invite the suppliers
On Invitations you choose which suppliers get the procurement. Only the ones you invite can see it and submit a bid.
Review and send it out
The last step is Review your event before publishing. Here you see everything together, the way suppliers will see it. If something needs changing, go back with Previous or select the step name at the top.
When everything is right, select Publish. The suppliers you invited are notified, and they can start submitting bids.
ℹ️ Note: After publishing you cannot change the requirements in the procurement. You can still adjust the deadline and the documents.
