This article shows you as a public buyer how to reuse an earlier procurement instead of starting over.
How to copy
Open the procurement you want to reuse and choose Copy the procurement in the actions menu. You get a new draft straight away, and the original is untouched.
What comes along
The copy inherits the description, the classification, the qualification requirements, the award criteria, the minimum requirements, the documents and the product groups.
Deadlines, announcements, bids received and internal notes do not follow. The new draft starts at position zero, with the content intact.
ℹ️ Note: The procedure can be changed for as long as the copy is a draft. Once announced it is locked. Note that the copy keeps the original’s classification. If it sat below the EEA threshold, two-stage procedures are still locked — the value or the regulation has to change first.
Go through what you inherited
A copy is a starting point, not a finished procurement. The requirements and criteria were written for the previous need, and the thresholds may have changed since. Go through the wizard step by step before you announce.
Next
See Create the procurement and choose the regulation for the steps in the wizard.
