This article shows you as an organization administrator how to decide who gets notified about what.

Select Settings in the menu at the bottom. The first tab is Notification Settings.

Notifications for sourcing events holds a single reminder: Bid delivery deadline, which fires ahead of the bid deadline. It does not notify you about incoming bids or questions.

Notifications for contracts cover the agreements, such as deadlines coming up.

Notifications for contract tasks cover the tasks attached to a contract.

Which groups you see depends on what the organization has access to. A supplier organization sees Supplier notifications instead, covering invitations and messages from the buyer.

The groups are configured independently, and they are not alike. Below is what they notify about and who receives it.

Notifications for contracts covers these dates: Start date, End date, Warranty expiration date, Renewal date, Termination date, Notice period start date, Option execution deadline, Option start date. Under each one you create a reminder with Create new, set how long before the date it should fire (a number and Days or Months), and choose receivers: Select individual receivers, Select receivers by role in organization and Select receivers by role in contract. You can combine them. Finish with Save.

Contracts with no end date sits in the same group but works differently: there is no date to count down to, so the number you set is an interval the reminder repeats on.

Notifications for contract tasks covers Due date. The setup is the same, but here you do not choose a receiver: the reminder goes to whoever is responsible for the task.

Notifications for sourcing events covers Bid delivery deadline and fires ahead of it. It does not notify you about incoming bids or questions. Its third picker is Select receivers by role in sourcing event.

Supplier notifications appears for organizations without buyer access, and covers Sourcing event invitations and Messages from buyer. It is configured with Configure, has no deadline to count back from, and offers fewer pickers: only individual receivers and roles in the organization.
